Representatives of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (工業技術研究院) are planning a forum in the New York area.

Title: Innovation & Collaboration Across the Pacific

The event is free and open to the public.

ITRI representatives will present recent results and collaboration opportunities in many areas, including flexible electronics, WiMax, and advanced materials, and also conduct recruitment activities.

ITRI is a non-profit research institute located in Taiwan under the supervision of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. It conducts research and development in applied technologies for private sector growth.

North America Taiwanese Engineers' Association (NATEA) was founded by a group of Taiwanese American engineers and scientists on March 2, 1991 in Silicon Valley, CA, USA. Its vision is to promote technological knowledge and its applications, and to provide professional development for Taiwanese Americans and community at large. NATEA is a non-profit organization and serves its members and their communities by sponsoring a variety of activities such as workshops, seminars, special interest groups, and social meetings. All the events are open to the general public.
